Wrapping Up Last Week...

Friday, Oct. 31st, was a busy day for the Raiders.

The swim team participated in the AISD Capital City Swim Classic. Our swimmers competed in heat after heat in a variety of events. It was exciting to see the students putting forth so much effort!

Boys competed in the pool to the
left, the girls in the pool to the right, and the pool in the back was for the diving competition.

Last week was Red Ribbon Week and the counselors ended the week on Friday by asking students to commit to being drug-free. Students also shared what they are passionate about by writing with sidewalk chalk on the courtyard concrete.

Some of our lucky teachers had the pleasure of judging the culinary students' pumpkin recipe contest. The students were creative and made some delicious treats, from pumpkin pasta to pumpkin desserts.

Congratulations to the cross-country team, whose two members, Jackson and Sarah, competed in the Regional Championship this past Saturday in Arlington, Texas. Both ran their personal bests!

Ms. Parriott asked that I share the new Senior News Blog where Seniors and their parents will be able to find upcoming events, deadlines, and information:  http://crhsseniornews.blogspot.com/
