Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the Principal's Brown Bag Lunch this Thursday, however, our new Associate Principal, Nanette Deaton will be there in my place. Ms. Deaton has been serving on the Cedar Ridge Campus for the past year and a half as our Lead Counselor. Ms. Deaton has excellent knowledge of our mission and vision at Cedar Ridge, as well as the steps we need to take to reach our goals. Ms. Deaton has served as a campus principal in another district, and has served as an assistant principal in two Round Rock ISD middle schools. We are thrilled to welcome her on board as the associate principal. Please come to the Brown Bag Lunch Thursday and meet her.
We had a very exciting football game, last Friday night, against Westwood. We won 27 to 21, which gives us a spot in the playoffs! We will be playing Bowie High School this coming Friday night at the Burger Center, 3200 Jones Road, Austin, Texas, 78745. Come and cheer our Raiders to victory!
Our Raider Marching Band won a silver medal at Bands of America in the Southern California Regional Competition. Congratulations to them! They have certainly had an outstanding year!
