Academic UIL District Winners


This past Thursday and Saturday students competed in the District Academic UIL competition.  Our Computer Science team (David Bradley, Arvind Raghaven, and Matthew Pabst) placed 2nd overall which makes them the alternate computer science team for Regional competition.  In addition, Kenneth Flores placed 3rd and Kayley Gregory placed sixth in Spelling and Vocabulary. Kenneth will advance to Regional competition as well.

CR Student Chosen to Attend Prestigious PBS Student Reporting Labs Summer Academy in Washington, D.C!

The Public Broadcast System (PBS) Student Reporting Labs Summer Academy selected one of our awesome students to attend the five day, all expense paid Summer Academy in Washington, D.C.! Isaac Hernandez will be representing Cedar Ridge while learning about journalism and video production! We are so proud of Isaac and know he will make the most of this great opportunity!

This is a wonderful organization that focuses on our graduating seniors! The goal is to fund raise and utilize volunteers to be able to host a safe, secure, and FUN graduation celebration for our seniors the night of graduation. Please help us make that happen!

Cedar Ridge DECA had 29 students who competed at the DECA State on February 23-25 in San Antonio. The students who competed were:
