"Last week, Mrs. Colclasure and I took our CNA classes on a field trip to Scott and White Round Rock and Georgetown hospital where we participated in a region wide emergency disaster response drill. The students acted as victims of a catastrophic disaster while the medical staff was trained on how to respond. The scenario in Georgetown was a simulated hostage situation where a helicopter was flown into the hospital causing it to collapse. The Scott and White scenario was a simulated active shooter situation where hostages were being taken.
As always, our Cedar Ridge students continue to make us proud! :)
