Each grade level will be assigned to an academic wing to decorate after school, and Class Officers for each class will lead the effort. (Seniors-A wing downstairs, Juniors-B wing downstairs, Sophs-C wing downstairs, Freshmen-D wing downstairs.)

Portables teachers and teachers in hallways not being decorated by students may choose to participate in a Door Decorating Contest. Voting for both will take place on Tuesday through email to both students and staff. Teachers may choose to decorate themselves or choose a class to do it for them.

Homecoming Parade and Community Pep Rally-Wednesday 9/20
Parade watchers are encouraged to bring folding chairs and set up along the parade route. The parade route circles the school, beginning near the bus lanes in back and down the west side of the building. The event includes food trucks, vendor booths, and other activities for the hour before and after the parade itself and until 8:30 after the end of the pep rally. All campus groups, organizations, clubs, teams, and departments are invited to march/walk/ride in the parade. Imagine your department creating and riding on a float of some sort while tossing candy to the adoring masses.

Parade watchers are encouraged to pick up their folding chairs and follow the end of the parade into the stadium for the pep rally. The stands are not big enough to hold everyone, so people will set up their chairs all along the track around the field, and the pep rally will play to the whole stadium, not just one side.

Schedule for the evening:
  • 5:00-5:30 vendor set up
  • 5:30 vendors open
  • 6:30 parade participants line up in bus area in back of school
  • 7:00 parade around the campus
  • Parade will end in the stadium for our outdoor Community Pep Rally!
  • 8:30/9:00 vendors close
