Cedar Ridge is humming with activity as we gear up for the 2015-16 school year! Last Thursday, we welcomed our new Cedar Ridge faculty members to the campus. We are very excited to have them join our Raider family! We then welcomed all of our teachers back from their summer break on Friday, August 14. This week, we've had a week packed full of professional development and activities to prepare for the start of school. We are excited for the 2015-16 school year and look forward to seeing all of our students on the first day of school, Tuesday, August 25th!

Thank you to everyone who has already gone to Info Snap and completed their online enrollment verification for returning students! RRISD Info Snap has been up and running for two days and already Cedar Ridge has 20% of our families who have verified their student's enrollment online! This is a great start, but we still have 79% who have not yet started the process, and 1% who have started the process, but not yet completed. Please help us streamline our first day processes and cut down on excess paper costs by logging into Info Snap and verifying your child's enrollment information. You should have received additional information in the mail and via email from Round Rock ISD regarding your SnapCode and steps to completing online enrollment. However, should you need additional assistance, please visit www.roundrockisd.org/enroll.
Please note that the online enrollment verification process is currently available for returning Round Rock ISD students only. Any students new to Round Rock ISD should report to their home campus to register in person.
Please help us by reminding your neighbors and friends to check their mail and their email for their SnapCode and complete their online enrollment verification this week.

The Cedar Ridge
Meet the Teacher Night will be held Wednesday, September 16, at 7:00 pm. We would love to be more “green” and go paperless that evening, so please take a picture of your child’s schedule so you will know your child's teachers and rooms they are in. More information will be shared about the evening, as the time gets closer.

Graduation 2016- Round Rock graduation 2016 dates and times have been finalized. The Cedar Ridge High School Class of 2016 commencement ceremony will be held at the Cedar Park Center on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 12:00 noon. More details will be shared as the year goes on, but we wanted to make sure the seniors and their families had the date on their calendars.

Menu
Cafe menu's are complete and available online. The menu has expanded so much this year there are TWO menu's. One is a "Daily Offerings Menu" with student favorites such as, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, make your own deli and pizza, that will be available every day.
The second menu is a "Featured Entree Menu" that offers specialty entrees such as veggie burgers, scratch made meatloaf, freshly prepared specialty salads & more. This menu will change monthly and offer some delicious innovative recipes, many of which are scratch made in our central kitchens and always freshly prepared in yours.
Meal Prices
Food costs determine meal prices. Student lunch prices increased 10 cents to $2.75. Adult lunch prices increase 5 cents to $3.30. Student breakfast pricing remains the same at $1.35. Adult breakfast prices are $2.25.
Meal Funds
On August 14th Food Services emailed families their student's Food Service PIN#. Students will either need to key in this number or swipe the barcode on their student ID to purchase meals or snacks in the school cafeteria. If students forget their Food Service PIN #, they will be able to access it, starting on the first day of school, in Home Access Center (
https://roundrockisd.org/parents/home-access-center/). Cash is also accepted.
Parents may add funds to student food service account(s) by sending a check to the school cafeteria made out to RRISD Food Service or by credit card at MySchoolBucks.com. There is a minimal transaction fee to add money to a student’s account utilizing the online service, but there is no charge to set up low balance alerts or to view account activity.
Free Breakfast
The first week of school student breakfast will be served FREE.
Allergy Form
The Food Service website now has a comprehensive allergy form available online. The link to the form is on the first page of the Food Service website. For your reference, here it is

Free & Reduced
As a reminder students need to apply for free or reduced meals every year. If they were eligible last year their benefits will only be available the first 30 days from the beginning of the new school year. Only one application per household is necessary. The district encourages eligible students to go online to enroll and most importantly to participate daily and enjoy nutritious, tasty breakfasts and lunches. The online form is available in English & Spanish.
